CO2 DRY-ICE BLASTING

In dry-ice blasting, solid CO2 is used as a blasting agent to clean parts in a pressurized jet-blasting procedure. The procedure for cleaning the parts is applied before the coating process. It is also possible to deburr cast, sintered or thermoset parts. The procedure is only slightly abrasive and is not corrosive, meaning that damage to the part being cleaned is minimal. This procedure is therefore particularly suitable for sensitive parts and materials. Another advantage is that the CO2 evaporates into the surrounding air after the part has been treated, meaning that you then do not have to dispose of the cleaning material.
