This is the main advantage of this type of dryer over traditional air dryers. By drying the coating from the inside out, you avoid blistering or skin formation on the surface. Furthermore, this procedure speeds up the paint drying procedure, which leads to an excellent surface finish quality. This dryer essentially consists of a tunnel and the corresponding infrared heaters. Infrared dryers are particularly suitable for parts which are very sensitive to temperature or which have a high material thickness.
