Your parts are transported into the system on a conveyor. A camera system recognizes your individual product types and forwards its information to a central computer. A robotic gripper arm takes the part and places it into the crack testing system, positioning it accordingly. The complete crack testing process then takes place, where the part is manually checked under UV lights – unless it is a very simple geometric shape (e.g. a cylinder), in which case it is possible to carry out an automatic inspection using cameras and suitable software. The process ends with the product being removed by a robot, which replaces the part on the conveyor system so it can be transferred.
