POWDER BOOTH

In a powder booth, usually electrically conductive parts are coated using electrostatically charged powder coatings. Here, the coating process can be done manually or fully automatically. It can be useful to recycle the oversprayed powder. The depends on whether the cost of changing the color is proportionate to the cost of the otherwise wasted powder. For frequent color changes and low throughput, it is recommended to work without recycling the powder. For few colors and high quantities, recycling the powder can prove to be very lucrative. It must also be possible to thoroughly clean powder booths after every color change. The finish on the surface of the booth material must therefore be very fine.
